Clerics are young members of various religious groups who are training for the demanding path of a healer. They typically do not engage much in combat and have limited skills in self-defense using blunt weapons. However, they are highly valued in smaller groups of fighters for their healing abilities. From the start, clerics focus intensely on learning how to heal wounds using bandages and begin mastering basic spells for strengthening and protection.

However, some deviate from the faith during this difficult service and become heretics (possible from 7th level). Those who endure can then become priests or hierophants at 10th level.

Weapons/Armour

Healing students don't use weapons much, focusing mainly on improving their magic and healing abilities. If they do have to defend themselves, they brandish all sorts of blunt weapons. They will dress in whatever suits them and for which they have enough strength. In heavier armor, they are still not as confident in casting spells, so it can limit them at lower levels.
