Training is conducted in cooperation with a Heretic. The Heretic casts Magic Trap on a chest, and the Rogue removes it using the 'removetrap' skill. Note: Casting Magic Trap will flag the Heretic as a criminal, so it is recommended to train in a cellar or outside of a guard zone.
V cechu Rougov sa nachádza zopár truhiel na ktorých môžeš začať. Väčšina hráčov si ale kupuje bedne so zámkom, ktorý je o 3-5 skill vyššie od jeho aktuálneho skillu plus lockpicky s ktorými trénuje. Takéto bedne a lockpicky predávajú hráči s craftom ktorý sa venuje Tinkeringu. Následne bedňu dookola zamyká a odomyká lockpickom.
