Znají pár pozitivních kouzel, kterými se chrání, dokáží si pomocí magie vyléčit otravu, stejně jako kněží ovládají boj palicemi a umí kouzlit i v těžké zbroji, včetně plátové. Toto umění heretikové dovedli k dokonalosti a dokáží kouzlit dokonce i se zbraní a štítem v rukách. Ze studií si současně odnesli vskutku velkou vášeň pro zapisování magických formulí na pergamen. Totéž se sice nedá říct o vyvařování lektvarů nebo léčení ran pomocí bandáží, nějaké základy však mají.
