Writing magic scrolls can make powerful wizards even more powerful. It applies to professions with magic and the Inscription skill. Only those who are allowed to cast the spell normally can use the scrolls.

Scrolls

Scrolls are made by a craftsman using the Tailoring skill. To do this, he needs hides (hides), which are commonly available in monster loot after cutting them up.
There are six types of hides in total, from which scrolls with different magical properties can be sewn. The difficulty of sewing is the same for all types of hides. Scrolls are sewn in multiple pieces at once.

• a successful attempt at re-stitching turns 3 hides into 3 scrolls
• a failed attempt consumes 1 hide
• blank scroll difficulty: 74

Writing Scrolls

To make usable scrolls that can be used to cast spells, you need to have:

• blank scrolls
• reagents (for the spell)
• mana (1/2 the mana needed for the spell)

You cannot sit on a horse while writing. If you fail to write a scroll, one empty scroll will disappear, and the character will lose mana and regs. The crafting menu is called up by double-clicking on an empty scroll.

The difficulty of writing the scrolls themselves varies. From the table, you can see that, for example, empowered wrath from a mage (5th circle) has a difficulty of 70.

Scroll difficulty per level

Even using a scroll has its own difficulty. It depends on the spell circle, scroll type, and character level. From the table, you can see that, for example, quickened lightning (4th circle) requires level 22.
