Created from socketable items after using a special runeword scroll that can be found on higher level monsters and treasures. There is the exact combination of runes/gems the item must be equipped with (depending on the order), the size of the iridium, and whether the scroll can be used on armor, weapons, or both. If an item meets all the conditions and a scroll is used on it, new magical properties will be added to it and the scroll of runeword will disappear. It is impossible to know in advance what the properties will be - unless you have seen the given runeword before. A high skill itemid is needed to use the runeword scroll. | |||
