In Daugas City you’ll come across a mysterious stone, beside which stands a figure in a red hooded cloak. If you talk to this figure, you’ll learn they’re a guide to the Shadow Realm—and after completing their quest, you’ll unlock the .shadeshift ability, letting you teleport straight into the Shadow Realm.
To resolve the riddle you can use the WEB-tool https://decoder.pwnpad.dev/
Shadeshift restrictions
The ability to shadeshift can be used almost anywhere. Of course, in some places it is prohibited, such as the home zone or the dungeon zone (except for small parts where it is necessary due to the setting of the dungeon passage mechanics).
Shadow resistance
Enemies in the Shadow Realm are protected by dark magic that reduces player damage (you can see the Shadow resistance effect directly on the monster). Some monsters are protected less, but others more (probably depending on the level and type of monster). When killed, there is a chance that a piece of its aura will fall out of the monster, which is called Shadow infusion.
If the player has a sufficient Shadow infused value on their armor/weapon, this effect (Shadow resistance effect directly on the monster) can no longer be seen. The player therefore no longer has any penalty for damage dealt to this monster.
Shadow infused
To prevent Shadow resistance (dark protective magic), players must infuse their armor/weapons with Shadow infusions. The maximum Shadow infused value on an item is currently +12. To infuse Shadow infusions into their armor/weapons, a player needs:
- Shadow infusion crystal (T1-T12)
- Shadow fuser
- Shadow altar (nearby)
Upgrade Shadow Infusions
Shadow infusions can be combined with each other to create a more powerful form. Shadow infusions can be upgraded directly in the Shadow fuser or directly in the item.
T1 (1pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T2 = T1 + T1 (2pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T3 = T2 + T2 (4pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T4 = T3 + T3 (8pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T5 = T3 + T3 (16pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T6 = T3 + T3 (32pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T7 = T3 + T3 (64pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T8 = T3 + T3 (128pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T9 = T3 + T3 (256pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T10 = T3 + T3 (512pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T11 = T3 + T3 (1024pc Shadow infusion crystal)
T12 = T3 + T3 (2048pc Shadow infusion crystal)
