Spawner with Forest trolls
Bag of Knowledge
Bag of Spoils

In the outdoor world you can find so-called Spawners — usually campfires (they can look different). They reward clearing the area of monsters. When no hostiles remain, reward bags may appear at the campfire. One bag (Bag of Knowledge) contains an experience tincture. The other (Bag of Spoils) can hold more valuable rewards.

Be careful: the bags are not for everyone and both need not appear at once. Each spawner has its own cooldown — typically about 1–2 hours after the last reward (depending on that spawner’s setting). If you clear the camp while no reward is ready, you only find coal instead of bags.

Coal

Bag of Knowledge and Bag of Spoils do not have to appear at the same time (they have separate cooldowns).

Bag of Knowledge

  • may contain a lesser tincture of experience — 50 EXP
  • or a tincture of experience — 75 EXP
  • or a greater tincture of experience — 100 EXP
  • the maximum character level that can drink the bottle is shown in parentheses in the name
  • spawner bottles use caps 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (normal realm) and 30 / 35 (Shadow realm)
  • Hardcore characters cannot use these tinctures
  • stronger variants (major / divine) do not drop from these outdoor spawners

Bag of Spoils

  • always contains a small amount of normal and necro reagents
  • always contains Gold coins
  • on lower-tier spawners also contains Rusty coins
  • may contain a magic rune
  • often contains a magic item
  • may contain a tattered map / forgotten scroll
  • may contain a set piece for a class (e.g. ranger 10+ coif)
  • may contain a dye tub
  • may contain iridium ore
  • in the Shadow realm may also contain a Shadow infusion crystal
