Classmaster Taurin

The mercenary is a classic representative of a tank, as you know him from other games. Uses plate armor and a large shield that absorbs damage. His taunt, shout, and spell breaker abilities allow him to dominate the battlefield and keep monsters focused on him. His main weapons are one-handed and two-handed maces.

A mercenary is an indispensable party member on Endor, especially in the darkest and most dangerous dungeons. This profession excels in its ability to resist enemy attacks and hold a frontline position. It is the only profession with the ability to actively draw aggressions of monsters, allowing other party members to focus on their tasks in battle.

How to become

You can become a mercenary from a fighter after reaching level 10. Visit Taurin, a Classmaster in the mercenary guild, which you can reach thanks to the ferryman Silver. Ask him to "join" and repeat after him "Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, I have to kill to stay alive!".

Abilities

Title Level Type Description
Ridicule 10 Toggle It provides a buff that makes hammer hits deal more "aggro", allowing the mercenary to keep monsters focused on him and not the rest of the party. It is toggled with the .taunt on/off command.
Tip: make .taunt on part of some of your macros. Then you'll never forget to turn on this feature in dungeons.
Pikeman 10 Passive When using a polearm weapon (e.g. a halberd) it has a chance to critically strike riders. If the mercenary is without a mount (pawn), he dismounts enemy riders.
A relentless fight 12 Passive Helps mercenaries last longer in combat by reducing stamina consumption per hit.
Roar 12 Active This is an active version of Ridicule (taunt), it will attract the attention of all monsters in a certain radius to the mercenary at the cost of some amount of his stamina. With each level, the time between uses decreases and the range increases. It is activated by the command .shout .
Spellbreaker 15 Active Interrupts all spells currently being casted by the target. Very useful for protecting your party from powerful AOE spells or preventing monsters from gaining a protective aura. Used by the command .spellbreak
Aegis 18 Active Absorbs all dmg from next hit (magical and physical), lasts 10s before hit, only works with shield, cooldown 30s. Used by .aegis command
Precision strike 20 Active Guarantees to hit the target with your next hit, duration 10s, applies on next melee hit, cooldown 30s Used by .precisestrike
