Shadow Realm

In Daugas City you’ll come across a mysterious stone, beside which stands a figure in a red hooded cloak. If you talk to this figure, you’ll learn they’re a guide to the Shadow Realm—and after completing their quest, you’ll unlock the .shadeshift ability, letting you teleport straight into the Shadow Realm.
Shadeshift restrictions
The ability to shadeshift can be used almost anywhere. Of course, in some places it is prohibited, such as the home zone or the dungeon zone (except for small parts where it is necessary due to the setting of the dungeon passage mechanics).
Shadow resistance
Enemies in the Shadow Realm are protected by dark magic that reduces player damage (you can see the Shadow resistance effect directly on the monster). Some monsters are protected less, but others more (probably depending on the level and type of monster). When killed, there is a chance that a piece of its aura will fall out of the monster, which is called Shadow infusion.
Shadow infused
To overcome shadow resistance, players must charge their armor and weapons with shadow infusions. In order to insert an infusion into an armor piece or weapon, a player needs:
- shadow infusion
- shadow fuser
- shadow altar (close proximity)
Shadow infusions upgrade
Shadow infusions can be combined with one another, creating a more potent form.
