Hardcore

Hardcore mode is a mode where your character has only one life. After death, you remain a ghost forever. This game mode is designed for the most passionate players. If you can't handle the pressure, you'd better not try it.

How to create a Hardcore character?

A Hardcore character must be a newly created one. It cannot have any rebirths. In the Star Room, during race selection, you will find a dark statue. This statue will grant you the option to play in Hardcore mode.

How does it differ from a standard character?

• Special web rankings: Unique leaderboards dedicated specifically to HC players.
• Permadeath: Once you die, it's over, and you lose all your equipment.
• HC Tag: Your character has a special (HC) tag before their name.
• Visual distinction: The paperdoll displays a special hardcore icon, and your name is highlighted in red.
• No Tinctures of Wisdom: You are restricted from using Tinctures of Wisdom.
• No PvP Zones: You cannot enter Battle Royale or Arenas.
• No Rebirths: Rebirthing is disabled for hardcore characters.
• XP Boost: You have a permanent +30% experience boost.
• Enhanced Healing: Greater Heal restores 2x more HP than usual.
• Improved Bandaging: Using a bandage on yourself restores 2x more HP than usual.
• Double Absorption: Absorption potions are twice as effective.
• Free Leveling: You don't pay any gold for gaining levels.
