Town War
A battle for cities is a battle in which the current owners of the city Defenders must defend the attacking guilds Attackers.
Attack Start
An attack can only be declared at a certain hour. It depends whether it is summer or winter time. The attack can be planned between 19:00 and 21:00. An NPC named "Katapultnik" will appear in Golden Mines only when an attack can be declared. The attack will begin exactly 24 hours after the announcement.
The declaration is subject to several rules:
- announcer must be in League
- announcer becomes Attack Commander
- the announcer can only attack one city at a time
- announcer must pay 15K gp and 200 platinum
- the city has not been attacked in the last 3 days
- no other attack may be declared on the city
- the maximum possible number of attacks is 3 cities per day
Attackers
The commander of the attackers becomes [Attacker] automatically, and all others must add to the attack via the .commander command. The command .commander allows the commander to do various other things such as teleport all players at his position. Be careful, the commands have a long cooldown.
Defenders
Defending players can only be players who are on the town stone. A Commander can only join the defense in Phase 1. All other defenders can be added to the defense by the Commander via the .commander command.
Stage 1
At this stage, a 30-minute countdown will begin during which all players in the city are teleported out of the city. It is announced to the entire server that a Town War is starting in the city
Phase 2
In Phase 2, the defenders have to defend their Engineer, who is shooting at the gate with a catapult. If no one attacks the Engineer within 15 minutes, the gates are destroyed immediately. This timer is reset whenever someone attacks the Engineer. If the Engineer dies during this phase, the Defenders win. If the Engineer destroys the gates in 45 minutes, phase 3 follows.
Stage 3
The gates are open and the Attackers have stormed the city. The Attackers task is to kill 3 defending mages in the city and the Defenders task is to defend those mages. If all 3 mages die within 45 minutes, the Attackers win and take the city, if they survive, the Defenders defend the city and win.
